…But what exactly is “it?”

There’s been a lot of debate on the topic, and presented here is a collective attempt to lay down some semi-concrete definites and possibilities. Clearly nothing here is to be taken seriously (speculation and hearsay that it is), but the basis behind this text is to, using everything we know about the Smash Bros. series in it’s current three incarnations, say what likely will be included/excluded/remodeled in the to-be-made-eventually videogame Super Smash Bros. 4.
